This elixir packs a powerful punch during the winter months. The main herb in this formula, Osha Root (Ligusticum porteri) is known in many indigenous cultures as Bear Medicine, as the bears will seek out this plant in times of illness. Other plants included in this formula include astragalus, marshmallow root, elecampane root and mullein.
Elderberry Immune Tonic
This tonic contains herbs known to support the immune system including elderberry, usnea (see apothecary notes for more information on usnea), reishi mushroom, echinacea, cinnamon and ginger. Take daily, this tonic can be nourishing and support a healthy winter season.
