One of the main ingredients is macadamia nut oil, whose makeup is similar to that of the skin's own natural oils. Squalene is a lipid that our skin cells produce naturally. It keeps our skin hydrated and healthy.

As we age, the ability to produce squalene decreases. But macadamia nuts contain a version of this essential fatty acid squalane, and lots of it!

What makes macadamia nut oil a great carrier oil?

Macadamia oil also contains oleic acid, which is great for softening and moisturizing the skin, regenerating skin cells, and acts a natural anti-inflammatory. 

Other carrier oils were chosen for their nourishing and moisturizing properties and blended with a special blend of essential oils.
